Dew of the Night

And honey

It is night again

Basking in the moonlight

I lay on the grass

Among the daisies

And the glimmering fireflies

Inhaling your musky scent

Just like always…

Feeling your damp tousled hair

And tugging at them

To see you wince

And just like always

You would ask if I was cold

And even before I answer

You pull me in

Against your chiselled torso

And just like always

Your heartbeats echo in my ears

And your memories

Swarm form my heart

To my eyes

And my tears, on the grass

Form the dew of the night.
